Apprentice Tim Bell has found himself on the wrong side of stewards yet again, incurring a six meeting suspension for careless riding at Randwick.
Although stewards deemed the interference Bell caused aboard Key West to Nash Rawiller’s mount Danza King in the Clovelly Handicap to be at the lower end of the scale, the youngster’s record told against him,
Bell, the NSW champion country apprentice for the past two seasons, has been suspended nine times in the past 12 months.
He begins his ban next Wednesday and returns on March 17.
Among his commitments this weekend is the mount on Vision And Power in the Group One Chipping Norton Stakes at Warwick Farm.
